Sofa corner protector any ideas?

I have noticed at the bottom corner of the sofa where the corner bead or piping is, has gotten pulled away or torn due to when you walk between the slides when they are closed it is very narrow. Is there any type of corner protector or a way to protect the lower corner of the sofa?

I carry Gorilla Tape in my tools box, it is very useful for many fixes in my Jayco. Gorilla tape is now available in clear, this may do the trick.

If you can stuff it back in place and staple it, you could get a clear corner protector with its own adhesive and stick it on. Cut to proper length.
