Squeaky coach door

My coach door on my 35UN squeaks almost all the time while traveling. It may work for awhile but then the noise is unbearable. Any way of stopping this? My dealer said they adjusted it but it does it still

Its not your door making noise, its the small window above the door. Dealers are removing that window and putting some sticky tape in it and the problem is solved. They did mine last time at shop and I can't believe how much quieter the cabin is now.

If your dealer does not know this trick have him call Jayco for instructions. I think just about every 35UN has made this window noise.

Also, your door hinge may start squeaking as it swings. A dab of WD-40 type lube on the hinge will shut that right down. The hinge will not make any noise while closed however, that noise is the window moving around in it's frame.

My 35UP door also squeaks--BAD. had to black tape the latch pins to get rid of most of the noise. Side windows also make noise. My old class C was a whole lot quieter than the precept.

My problem is fixed for now. The dealer adjusted the strike plate. My door was not closing tight enough and was squeaking where the pins go in the strike plate.
