Steering wheel cover

Has anyone bought a leather or neoprene steering wheel cover? I had one on my class C motorhome before I bought my Alante. I find it more comfortable on the hands while driving, especially on longer driving days.

Steering Wheel

Very interesting idea. Did you have any slippage? Sounds like something I'll have to try out. Thanks for the idea!

Installed on my class C, so much more comfortable on the hands.

I've bought leather covers from Leather Steering Wheel Covers Manufacturer and Distributor for my last three trucks. They're a little pricey, but worth it. They're vehicle specific when you order them.

I use a very thin pair of gloves I found at Cabela's. Bought them originally as shooting gloves, they are a mixture of thin leather and stretchy material.

On every vehicle I own and have driven my hands tend to sweat and stick to the steering wheel. When I use the gloves that problem goes away completely.

The thin material allows the glove to breath and I get a very good grip on the wheel.

I occasionally tinker with older cars. I have bought vinyl covers at auto shops for vary little. Takes time and a hair dryer in cooler weather to get them on tight. Take time to make the lacing lay down flat with no twists.
