There's not enough room to raise the foot rest, but the dinette seat works fine.

That looks great. My Dealer last year claimed Jayco didn’t have a retro fit for the 2016 31UL. So I’m interested in your dealer’s name, so I can make contact and get details. Thanks.

what type of rig do you have, we have a 31UL. I'm looking for the same thing. I would order it directly from Jayco or the actual furniture manufacturer.

Theater Seating in Precept 31UL

We got ours from CW on sale and removed the old and installed the new myself on our 17 Precept 35S. 90 degree drill adapter for screwing into the floor did the trick. Added the perfect fitting magazine rack to fill the void.

Precept 31UL Theater Seating - Thomas Payne

I installed the THOMAS PAYNE Seismic Theater seating electric recliner sofa with heat and vibration seats in our Jayco 31UL . They were $500 off on sale for $1150 at camping world. They are 60 inch wide, very conformable and fit perfectly with cup holders on both sides. See picts below easy installation steps in order. Some picts need rotated.

1. removed old sofa, very easy
2. Added additional outlet in lower right corner behind sofa for power, easy access using previous wire routing hole and connected to electrical box on slide floor.
3. moved electrical box over to fit between frame of love seat.
4. Added 2x4 to end of slide for extra width and covered with carpet from under kitchen drawer.
5. shortened the window cover to allow clearance for back of love seat. Not all 31UL have the cover
6. Lag bolted the love seat frame down and installed love seat backs.

Seat height dilemma

I installed the RecPro 58" loveseat recliner seats as well in a Alante 26X. The original Jack Knife couch was not comfortable and we didn't need a kiddie bed. These recliners are extremely comfortable, and we can use them while traveling and access the bathroom.

The only problem is the seat height is 4 inches higher because it is on the slide out platform. Hence, my wife's feet don't rest on the RV floor. If your feet dangle, it is not a comfortable sitting position.

What I did was order a yard (36" x 58") of vinyl from Recpro and built a 58"L x 7"W x 4"H platform, wrapped it in the vinyl so it is the same color the recliner, and put a piece runner on top. It fits under the recliner when not in use. It also give a better view when climbing in the coach as you can't see the slide out and the stuff underneath it.

I also put the parlor T.V. on a swivel so now we have 4 very comfortable
seats with the Pilot and Co-Pilot chairs turned around and great TV view from all four.

You can refer to my original post for our 2016 31ul. It does sit a little lower so my DW's (5'2") feet rest on the floor. https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ept-59175.html

Maggie, Can you tell me where you purchased your lounge seating for your 2015 Precept 31UL? Also, did you install it yourself? Any information you can post would be greatly appreciated.
