Tire blowout - Jayco Precept 29V

Has anyone experienced a tire blow out that totally destroyed the under carriage of your RV? We have a 2018 Jayco Precept 29V and had a blow out and the insurance is considering totaling it due to the amount of damage. They are going back on the tire MFG (Goodyear) because the tire was indate, not worn and had proper tire pressure (according to all the other tires left). Wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

Thousands of us have experienced blowouts and damage. Good luck with getting the tire company to pay. I did but it took some heavy pressure and time.

While everything might have been ok with the tire, a simple piece of debris on the road (road hazard) could have caused it and the tire company is probably going to push that possibility. You wont be able to disprove that.

What all did it mess up? Which tire was it? Were you using a TPMS?
