Tire Pressure

I own a 2019 jayco precep 29v with 245/70x19.5 tires
Jayco states that the cold psi should be 82psi
Friends of mine own a George Town same length, same gvwr of 20500 and George Town states a much higher cold psi, I think it was 92 psi
I don’t understand why jayco has a lower tire psi
I don’t want to over inflate but I don’t want to be under inflated
And the last thing I need is a blow out
Very confusing, any comment on what I should be doing
I here under inflating is just as bad as over inflation
Thanks Joe

tire pressure on the tire is the max and allows for the max load. But for comfort, tire life, traction and braking the manufacturer will put a different and lower number on the door sticker. Read this article which is understandable for more information.

Have the coach loaded for travel and weighted. Then set the tire pressure to the tire manufacturer's recommended tire inflation based on weight (tire manufacturer's weight tables). I'll bet your friend's Georgetown is not the same weight as your coach when driven across the scales. Also, it will not weight the same as anyone else on the forum. Do it right and get it weighted.

My coach 31ul has the same tires. I have settled on 86-88 lbs. If you run the higher pressures of the 22.5 tires it will ride hard.
