Tire Recommendation

Good afternoon,
I own a 2018 P31 Alante. The coach is now 4 years old and has 19,000 miles on it. I have read many posts recommending that the tires be replaced after 4 to 5 years of age regardless of the mileage. I have Goodyear tires on it now and they have been great. I would like to know what tires you guys recommend. Best ride, least tire failures etc. Should I be replacing them now or when? I appreciate all opinions.

I was always "prejudiced" towards Michelin on the MH's. FMCA has a great discount program, on top of their other benefits, which made it well worth being a member.

If you have a Discount Tire close ask them. They deal with thousands of tires for thousands of different applications.

I have a 2021 vision 29f (alante) and replaced my Goodyear steer tires with toyos at about 5k miles and they made a minimal, but noticeable improvement on ride and steering control. I did make several chassis updates shortly after so it admittedly may have been a placebo affect (I had maybe a few hundred miles before making the chassis changes). I replaced them due to the horror stories about the Goodyear's and blowouts, but I kept the rears and they still seem fine. I do plan to replace the rears around year 5 unless needed earlier. I have a thorough visual inspection of all tires before each trip (along with my sway bar bolts after one fell off during my first trip).

That is not a true or fair test of control as replacing old with new gives you back the control you lost with edges wear in the tires.

My 2019 34G has about 30k miles on it. The factory Michelins still look like new. I keep it in shade or covered. I’ll replace them every 8 years or so as long as they look good. By that I mean no sidewall cracking.
