If you have a Discount Tire outlet or similar that is where to start. Those people deal with thousands of tires a month and know what works and what doesn’t.

Asking here gets you advice from people who have had one or two set over the last few years. Hardly expert advice.

mspinetta,
I need new tires as well mine is a 31UL 2014 chassis with 2013 date code and same size tires. Driving on the edge. I checked with my local commercial tire shop and they advised I go with Bridgestone R238 tires.

Do your research to know about what ply tires are the best. Then check with a trucking tire company in your area. They are more knowledgeable on the larger tires. And don't forget to check the date codes. They should be within 2-3 months new.

I was wondering if anyone here has had a blowout that resulted in MAJOR damage underneath your RV We have a Jayco Precept 2018 29V and had one inter back tire to blow out. Now, the total underneath is damaged. The black tank busted, all wires and lines completely cut. Now they are talking about totaling it. It could have all been prevented if there were fender wells installed at the mfg when they built this. I have grandkids and I am upset that they were in the RV when this happened. Has anyone else had a problem? My insurance company is planning to go on the tire MFG (Goodyear) because the tire was in date and not worn and correct tire pressure in all the other tires.
