Toad Question

Have a 2021 GMC Sierra Elevation with the 3.0 Duramax. Installed base plate, wiring with diodes for lights. Installed the RVI 3 brake system. 12v direct kit and charge line….
My question, hooking up goodies to battery …and the owner manual says to unhook sensor line first on the negative terminal, then the negative term. Was going to install RVI quick disconnect, pic added to help explain, anyone using this system and if I disconnect the battery, will it harm the sensor?

Might try your GMC dealer/service department for more accurate information than trusting that you will get it here. Nothing about the info that is given here, it is very good but that questions is not one I would leave to non-experts (although we sometimes get garbage from them to

Update, dealers haven’t been any help, they just say follow the owners manual, was hoping someone on here was flat towing a 2021 GMC Sierra or a Silverado to share what you do when disconnecting the battery
