towing equipment

I'm doing research on tow bars, base plates and brakes. It appears Blue Ox and Roadmaster are the two to consider....anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or experiences with either.

Thanks,

I love my Blue Ox set up, much better than the Falcon II that I was using on my last Jeep. I really like the M&G Brake System that I am currently using, I had a Stay and Play previously, it worked, but not like the M&G. M&G does not do a lot of advertising so the RV Magazines don't "feature" them. JH

Check out Demco's line of tow bars. I have a Demco Dominator and I really like it. Very beefy setup.

I have a Blue OX tow bar purchased from Craigslist, saved almost 50%. I use an RVI2 aux brake, purchased from eBay, saved 40%. Toad baseplate was purchased new. 10K miles towing and no issues.

Looks like you've already made your decision, but I use Blue Ox Alpha tow bar, and all other Blue Ox gear with a Patriot 2 brake controller, and so far I really like the gear. SUPER easy to use...
