Travel noise 2015 35 UN Precept

Good day to you all. My Precept is surprisingly quiet when traveling down the road, however, somewhere around the door area is a loud and constant squeaky noise.

I know that it could be a lot of things but I was wondering if there are any basic adjustments I can do that could fix the problem. I want my wife to drive the MH so I can feel around while in motion but she is still too afraid to drive it. (working on that).

Please let me know of anything I can try until then. Thank you!

Mine had a squeak that was coming from the door latch. I sprayed WD40 on the latch pins and it stopped, but came back fairly quickly, so I wrapped a couple turns of electrical tape around the pins. That worked pretty well and lasts quite a bit longer.

I would be overjoyed if that is all i have to do! Will give them a squirt before each trip!

I pulled the striker plate off and buffed it with steel wool and the sprayed with the lithium grease. Last for 3 months then another squirt again.

Hi everyone, I tried just about everything you all said to do. Had a wonderful peaceful drive to MS Gulf Coast, squeak is gone!
