Truma not producing hot water

Good Morning All,

In 2018.5 UL with Truma on demand hwh. Has been working great for the past 3 years. Yesterday it stopped producing hot water, giving lukewarm at best after running a lot of water through it.

Looking from the unit on the outside I can see the flame kick on and hear the normal noises it makes when it runs. I am getting a error code that says low gas pressure (have plenty of propane as I am running the furnace and stove as needed).

I am guessing their might be a clog caused by a web or something but thought I would through it to the group for their input.

Thanks.

Check for mud dauber nests. I had the error code for high amps on the fan, mud daubers kept the fan from turning.

Regulator may be at fault. What do your other flames do? Furnace cut out? Flapping with yellow tips at the burners on the stove?

Nope. Furnace ran fine and stove flame looked good.

I had a problem with my Truma doing the same thing. My fix was to restart everything from scratch the infamous reboot all things need. Now I always start the water heater at the outdoor shower so the water doesn’t need travel as far to get hot. Seems to have solved my problem, I think there was a air lock that was the problem.

Have you even ran a decalcification on the system? Ours started acting weird but never threw a code but after running a decalcification on the unit everything is working normal. If you have the basic unit, you have to take it in to be done but if you have the Comfort upgrade, which I highly recommend, yiu can do it yourself.
