Tv cable wiring

I have a Jayco Precept 29v my 3 TV's and DVD players work fine, all TV's scan and play from antenna. I have tried 3 times at different KOA campgrounds to hook up to cable provided and been unsuccessful. Following all instructions, jump cable installed and power antenna off the TV's scan and find no cable channels. Using an ohm meter I checked from cable input in the outside compartment to the connection inside and I have a good cable. From all I have read there should be a cable connected to all three taps on the power antenna board but mine has only 2 cables connected. I have repair other electric problems due to incorrect wiring from the factory and I believe this is another case. Does anyone have a 3 tv wiring schematic so I can ring out all cables and connections, Jayco and Camping World are no help.

Have you pulled the plate from the wall where the push button is. On my 34G 2022 the cable that came from the wet bay was not connected to the input on the wall plate. after i connected it i had cable to all 3 TVs.

Yes I checked that the cable is connected to the antenna board but there is I connection open an I can't find a Jayco 3 tv schematic. There are different ways to wire it depending on components used.

There are so many ways for this to go wrong that it is nearly impossible to troubleshoot your issue but first guess would be, do you have the power inverter button on? It should not be for cable.

It sounds like your TV is on cable, if so that is correct for cable input. Hopefully someone will have your rig and situation and can help.

Email motorizedservice@jayco.com and ask for the wiring schematic for your RV. I asked for all schematics for my 2022 Jayco Precept 36C and they emailed 17 different ones by the next day.

Don't know if this helps but a strange thing happened on our way out west at a KOA (it was either Granite City or Topeka KOA). We have never had a problem getting cable or air stations (where available) on any of our three TVs. At one of the above KOAs we could only get cable on one of our TVs. Very strange. All the cable connections were OK. The next night at Goodland KOA we could get reception on all three. Gremlins?

It has never worked, we do 75% of our camping with our cable available. It's not the KOA, been in 3 states and the same problem. Thanks for the reply

Able to take back to dealer? I would. Let them fart with wires. We had same issue.

We eventually put in Dish roof install.

We got tired of the whole cable/satellite deal and replaced the TV in ours with a Samsung smart TV. I originally used the wifi hot spot on my cell phone then went to a Verizon "Jetpack". You can watch anything you want on TV without worrying about anything except cell service.

You can go to The KING antenna web site and look for your switch under operator manual. It shows the coax connections. You should have three “cable” connection on the switch
