TV Replacement

Hello All,

Last season, 2 of my Insignia 39 inch TV's were fried during a thunderstorm at a campground in Lake George, NY. Thankfully, I was using an RV surge protector at the time and I think that saved us to an extent.

Will I be able to hook the any 39 inch TV to the current mount?

You shouldn't have any issues. But to be sure, measure the height, width and depth of the TV you're replacing compared to the replacement TV.

We've always replaced the junk TV that came with our trailer and never had a problem with installing the new - always Samsng. As Mark said though, check the dimensions carefully.

X2, I would only add to check the VESA mounting pattern on the old TV and new TV and confirm that if not the same patern it would still align and mount to the existing bracket.

Good point on the mount hole alignment. I replaced my 50" with a LG 4k.... but I did have to drill new holes in the mount plate.... no big deal.

Mark, yea good point I should've added "without modification", but you're right a couple drilled holes is no big deal. Just thinking if they match, then even easier.
