Ul 31 Precept road clearance

Hello everyone, and good day!
My question has to do with the road clearance on my 2016 UL 31, has anyone installed a lift kit or airbags to raise the back end? We do a lot of boondocking and going off the road more than not clearances an issue for us. I've looked into installing an airbag system that I'm hoping will give me an additional 3 inches of clearance. Any ideas?

The 'low point' concern might be the leveling jacks, so that they don't get snagged on anything.

Hello to you and welcome to the forum.

But, unfortunately, I can't help with your question.

Lifting the rear 3" will not change the axle clearance, your lowest point may well be in the front end if you have a steering stabilizer. I would just add SumoSprings to to the rear to reduce sag and roll, and short of air suspension for the front not much else you can do. We boondock a lot also and so far haven't had any issues, just keep the wheels on the high points and recon with the toad before hand.

I'm not sure what your driving but my Precept drives and handles great........that being said it seems Jayco was probably aware of the problem because they changed to 22.5 wheels, I'm sure that made a big difference!
Story of my life....a day late and a dollar short! Lol
Still my biggest concern is body damage!
Thanks again for your response.
