Unknown part found in new motorhome

Not a serious issue but I am just curious:

In our new Alante 31V I found a part consisting of a metal bar and a nylon wheel in a compartment above the driver seat (see pic attached). I asked the dealership technician and he swore that in 15 years of RV service he has never seen anything like that.

So...anyboby knows what it is and what it can be used for?

Send a copy of the picture to the Jayco C.S. email address and ask them if it's something needed or just left behind.

It is the manual crank for the slides. That's what I was told at my PDI last year. Haven't figured how to use it yet.

It's the arm that cranks up your vent in ceiling.

I hope so..

It's a crank to lift the seat up...

Thanks all for the guesses

The last one looks pretty close but not exactly the same. And I am not sure why I would need a spare. Maybe I will check with Jayco sometimes after all...

Don’t think so, those arms have teeth on them that are driven by a worm drive gear. I have done a google image search, scanned the online Jayco Parts PDF and haven’t found anything like this.

It looks like a tool to install screens on windows and doors.

Unknown Part

We were told at the dealer walk through that it is used for the microwave oven if they need to service it. Has something to do with reaching a bolt for removal of the unit.

I haven't found such a part in my Alante (yet) but if/when I do, it will go into the little box with all the other parts I have no immediate use for.

This is a tool to manually override the front overhead cab bunk on a Jayco Class A.
