What type of wax are you guys using on the Alantes?

I use Nu-finish on our Precept. Applies and removes easy and leaves a great shine. In between I use Turtle Wax Express shine spray wax/cleaner. I really love this stuff for fast cleaning. It is caranuba based and goes on and off quickly.

Is your MH full paint or gel coat?

I would recommend a high quality polymer based polish. It will last on the finish longer than a carnuba wax based product. Also it will tend to :sheet:water rather than bead ie. When you bead water on a finish it is more likely to water spot. As a final plus, polymers in a polish are clear and shiney when created in the lab, so they do not require buffing to produce a high luster. Hope this helps.

I use Meguiar's products for ALL my waxing needs. They make a wide variety of quality waxes for most all applications.

This is an excellent article on the subject. There are major differences between a gel coated coach and a coach with full body paint.

When we were at the Jayco Factory, they advised that wax not be used for the first year.

I'd like to update my post from awhile back. Getting ready to wintertime the MH and gave it a good wash from top to bottom. Decided to give it another coat of wax. Was out of NuFunish so off to store for more. Saw Meguires ultimate liquid wax and decided to give a try. WOW I am sold!! Very easy on and off and what a shine!! Would definitely recommend this. Just wish we weren't taking it to storage next week! [emoji853][emoji30]

This is what I use on my Alante, didn't wax it for the 1st year as per the Factory because of the Diamond finish I had done on delivery. Coach still looks new but used the Meguires ultimate liquid wax and it now looks great, and it is very easy on/off.
