whistling window on the drivers side and driving lights

2018 Jayco Precept 35S,,, seems like i am developing a whistle in the drivers window, depending on wind and speed can get rather loud.. any possible ways to fix?? Also, dont do much night driving but the lights bounce all over as we are driving .?? is this normal? or a manufacturing issue

Common problems. Some people have had the Whistler replaced under warranty. Mine whistle sometimes, I just open or close the latch to get rid of the whistle.

Heard of the headlight problem before but I don't drive it at night.

You have to close the window HARD. If you don't the latch will bind a little on the catch and cause the whistle.

Vicr is right. Mine were installed wrong and the latch would not engage properly and would push the window apart at the seal ever so slightly causing a whistle. Had to have both windows replaced under warranty now they work fine. But they must be closed tight so the latch falls completely into the groove.

Had the same problem with my Vision on pax side. Had window replaced under warranty---dealer's suggested fix, I was thinking seal or handle. Closing hard didn't do it for mine.

Same problem on 2020 Alante 26X, for us the seal that holds the frameless window on was failing, both driver and passenger sides. It's been at the dealership since February waiting on replacement windows from Jayco (Corona Virus hold-up cause factory is closed). From the outside look around the edges of the window and you may be able to see gaps where the seal is pulling away.

I had the same problem with my 2019 Precept 36U - the diagnosis was the drivers window was installed incorrectly and the gasket was ruined - the gasket is not replaceable the whole window had to be replaced under warranty - it is fine now and I don't have to latch the window

Hi:
I do the same thing on my 31UL. Just unlatch the side windows. Did you get a recall on the hydraulic hoses for the leveling system. It has taken me since April 23, 2020 to just get the part from Jayco/dealer. It's been a comedy of errors between the two!

Whistling windows

It is now 2022 and Jayco is still having the window whistling issue. My Alante was built last month and the seal between the glass and frame is not right. Not sure if this is something Jayco is doing wrong or if it is a Lippert issue. Looks like the adhesive on the foam seal is not sticking to the frame or the glass real well.
