I just discovered another reason to have a toad besides using it to visit local sites.
My DW and I and two youngest granddaughters are staying in a beautiful CG on the shores of Lake Superior which has electric and water only with a community dump station. The grey water tank can fill up pretty fast with this group. I have a portable tote tank (20 gallon I think) which is much too heavy to pull by hand for any distance to dump. Hook it up to the toad and wheel it up to the dump station and problem solved. Enables longer stays at CG’s that are not full hookup and don’t offer mobile septic service and makes it so much more convenient not to have to break camp for a dump run.
In the old days I might have cracked the valve a little and let some grey water run on the ground but that isn’t acceptable in this day and age. So having a toad is helping me make a contribution to save the planet. OK that’s a bit of a stretch. But having a toad makes this RV lifestyle a lot more convenient.
