Winterize 31 UL

Water pump location on 31 UL ?
Haven’t looked yet just thinking of things while sitting here at home. Coach at storage facility and cannot find location in on line manual.

Thanks

On my 31ul it is in water bay. Look high to the right and it's there.

Found it. In water bay above filter housing. Top left behind valve center cowling. Not too bad to reach.
Thanks for help

The reason for that is I won’t be using the water pump, so do I want to blow air through the water pump???

Am I right or wrong to do it this way? This is the first time I’m using the air method to winterize, and I want to make sure I’m doing this right.
I used an air compressor to winterize our 5th wheel last winter. Blew out the lines with a quick adapter hookup to the city water inlet on the rig and drained the pipes. No need for anti-freeze if there's nothing in the lines. Our rig uses PEX pipes as well so it's heavy duty to begin with. That and the insulated belly, I'm not too worried. Save $100 and use air this year!

Insulated underbelly? My 2016 31ul has exposed water lines from water compartment to hot water heater. Exposed water lines from water heater to entrance to shower. I hope they finally insulated something.

There are 2 types the one here is what I have. Set your pressure to 40PSI. There also is one (see bottom of picture) that has an open/close valve on it.

I have a couple of questions.

If I winterize with air only, what do I do about the sink and shower drain traps? Could I force the water out of them with a plunger?

I would be using a portable air tank with no regulator. Does someone make a cheapo regulator that I could use with it so I don't blow up my water lines? What about the little brass regulator fitting that I use at campgrounds--will that work with air?

Thanks, Bob

You can simply pour a little pink antifreeze down the drains with p traps. It's a good idea to pour some anti freeze into tank, open valve, and let it drain to final dump valve area but leave last valve closed.. Some people even run a little thru macerator if you have one.
