Smile XM antenna route on Greyhawk?

New owners of a 2018 29' Geryhawk and installed the XM tuner but unsure of the best route to the roof for the antenna. Need help please.

I ran mine out on front right side of hood just behind radio antenna. This way no hole is required in roof.

Since my new RV did not have one installed and because I was cancelling that radio, XM sent me a new radio kit free. Told me try it and if I didn't like it to regift it. The radio sits on a base and the antenna is placed near or on the inside of the window. Works great!

On my Greyhawk I kept losing XM signal when northbound on the highway. No matter where I placed the antenna reception was frequently lost. Solved this by attaching basic low profile antenna on roof using Dicor. Ran a Audiovox Sirius SIREXT50 Indoor/Outdoor Antenna Extension 50-feet Cable - Black (obtained from Amazon) down through the refridgerator corridor through the floor and to the front location of the XM radio. This 50 foot cable boosts the XM signal and allowed flexibility of antenna placement. I now have the antenna located on the high point of a Class C motorhome and it now doesn't matter which direction I am traveling in. Perfect signal all the time no matter where I am or which direction I travel.

We taped ours to the nose of the Seneca, just inside the hood pull-handle... it still is iffy when traveling North, but at least when going West it kept a signal. Up near the windshield we were losing signal constantly when headed West or North.
Our plan is to put it up top when we replace the satellite dome with a full HD dish (for DirecTV).
