19bh tongue toolbox

Here is the toolbox I mounted on the front of our 2009 19bh. I had to move the propane tanks every so slightly forward to get it to fit. It holds my two honda 2000 watt gens and the battery for the camper. We picked up the toolbox from Tractor Supply.

Now that is close. Does the hand crank still clear the tanks?

Yea, easily. I only had to move the tanks about an inch. I can actually fit the original plastic cover on them but its really right. With the cover thats on there now I still have plenty of room. I'm thinking about adding an electric tongue jack and should have plenty of room for that depending on the model and which way I mount it.

When I raise the lid it actually touches the camper ever so slightly.

Nice one... When I find the right box at the right price I'll be doing the same mod!

Nice mod, never enough storage space.

Don't forget that the box and those two genny's added extra weight to your prior loaded tongue weight, so a trip to the CAT scale will tell you what you need to do (re-adjust WDH, move cargo, etc.), or confirm that your tongue weight is still within the 10%-15% of trailer weight.

Travel safe.
