LIke the hat & coat rack at entrance as we have a similar wall which is empty. Have a 2012 x17z, but am not sure what is in the walls to be able to attach stuff or make mods. How did you attach the coat rack? Thanks

Does the exit window not have a screen?

Hat Rack

I used 3/4 " sheet rock screws. The wall material is very thin so I only plan on hanging hats & light jackets. You can judge the wall thickness buy checking the towel rack screw on the oppsite side of the wall.

ladywendolyn The Factory screen is for the bottom 5" crank out window. We installed a full screen, with velcro, for the entire " exit" window which we swing out and hold in place with a 12" pce of pvc pipe. Larry

That's a fantastic idea! I hate that I can't open the window. I have this fear of alarms going off if I try & open the window. Does the window stay hinged since it's meant as a fire exit?

cruzinkim-- Yes, the window is hinged from the top, so once you release the red handles you can carefully & eavenly pull the window out from the outside, then hold it open with something. We put a little hole in the screen, for the crank handle ,for the bottom window when the top is closed. We didn't install the screw to hold the crank in, so I used a little chain to keep it from being lost. Hope this helps Larry
