2015 34RSBS Tri-fold Couch Replaced

Fourth and final post detailing the interior upgrades to our 34RSBS. The rear wall tri-fold couch, though not used too much, seemed to not be a very comfortable place to sleep and we didn't use the storage underneath much. And then of course that material began to peel also. We liked our Best Furniture recliners so much, this year we removed the rear wall couch and replaced it with two chairs and a wedge-shaped accent table ($85 on Amazon), and did our best to add a little color to the rig going with "Chili" red for our selection. Chairs were special ordered thru our local furniture dealer and total cost for both was $920 which included taxes and delivery. It turned out the tri-fold couch was much easier to remove than the loveseat also. The only bad thing about all these upgrades is now we'll have to wait a few extra years before upgrading the rig itself!!

ATX512, Lakeway? Small world, our home (currently renting it out) is in Lakeway. When home with the RV, we usually stay at La Hacienda on Hudson Bend Rd.

Looks awesome! The tri-fold couch in our 29 RKS is the biggest POS I;ve ever seen. Our daughter tried sleeping on it and she kept sliding down towards the wall. Each section is 2 inches higher than the next.

TomTom, exact same experience here - pretty useless for sleeping when unfolded. Our son when staying with us on occasion would just remove the back cushions and sleep directly on the couch seat cushions. No brainer to replace the thing once the material started peeling.

Yes sir, Lakeway. Gotta love Carlos & Charlie’s after a day on the lake. Hahaha
