When I installed the strong arms I left the spare tire where it is. Yes, it does interfere a bit. I just lowered the tire and then raised it back when the legs are down. If I were being detail oriented I'd add a small bracket to hold the tire back a little bit (it's only about 1").

Spare tire holder
So how do you open up rear storage now? You’d have to take tire off every time

Its on a hinge. I remove the pin, and it folds down

How about the details on this? Looks simple. I was able to find some reels but they were very pricey.

If you don’t mind what was the part number for the steps? What are you going to do with the door now that you don’t have the hydronic strut on it? Looking at doing the same to mine.

Morryde Step Above Stp-3-30-04H Folding Entry 3 Step
StepAbove, Morryde step, Mor/ryde step, stepabove
Once I open the awning, I will get a measurement, and I will use one of the plastic door catches.

New kitchen sink faucet went in today. Easier that I thought considering I only had one way to get to it.

I found it on Amazon. I had to paint it. Unfortunately I had to take it off with my new steps.

Scott, how big is that fridge? I’d like a bigger one as well but can’t really give up much shelve space either.

I picked it up at Home Depot. Relatively cheap too. The freezer is almost as big as the one in the 5er. We are heading to Maine on Saturday, so when I get back, I'll cut to fit the shelves and install the shelving. It is a nice feature. we load it up.
Here is the link for the fridge. it has the dimensions. This one came a little damaged, but Im not too worried about it as it on the outside on the sides, where you cant see it.

That looks great we do a lot of camping for lunch by periods and need more fridge and freezer space I’m thinking of doing the same and trying to find one that runs off propane as well great job! Only issue is losing cupboard space
