I guess technically the first mod. Had them put heavy duty shackles and wet bolts on before I picked it up.

Enjoy! Trust me the mods will only slow down as the piggy bank gets smaller! That's a nice looking combo TV and 5er you have!

That is a nice looking set up you have there! The mods turned out great too. That mass of wires would be intimidating for me.

Put in cheap safe to keep grand kids away from things they don't need to play with. Also put my Freeze Alarm (I use as a heat alarm) in.

Disc Brakes are on. Was not able to do any scientific testing but in my short test drive they seem to work very well.
The install is pretty straightforward. It is something a good mechanically inclined person can do. It is a lot of work.

Had Performance Trailer Braking do the install. Brake kit was $1750 and install $1000.

Joy Rider Shock System
http://tweetys.com/joy-rider-trailer...trECz2y8EGoBoC

It is a little bit of work but a doable project. It is definitely a good reason to get a battery powered 1/2" impact if you don't have one. I also used a angle drill and some short drill bits I had. You can use your existing U-bolt. The tie plates are thicker so you do not have the Stiffener Plates in the kit. I called Sonny at RV Improvements Systems to verify this. I also used a 21/64 bit on the upper shock mounting brackets (it worked good on the 2"x3" steel tubing). I torqued the U-bolt to 90 ft lbs as per Lippert specifications. The shock are to be 13 1/2"-14 1/2" from center hole to center hole with trailer on the ground. So the upper shock mounting brackets where about 2" from the center hanger. When I mounted the shock to the upper bracket the shock was touching just a little so I added an extra washer with the 1/2" spacer.

It will be a couple of weeks before I can try them out.

I've been meaning to do this to mine. Have you noticed any improvement in the ACs performance yet?

Just did it this morning. Going to try and do the Reflectix insulation on roof air before next trip. No way it can't do anything but help.
