23J cabinet mod

I made a drawer with full extension slides for the cabinet beneath the oven. No more getting down on your knees to dig out the pots and pans. It should come this way from the factory.

Nice job! Alot more convenient than just a cabinet, especially when you need something in the back.

Here's a few more pics of my drawer. I used heavy duty full extension drawer slides, the sides of the box are 1/2" plywood. The bottom is 1/4" plywood. the sides and bottom are held in place by small cleats to add reinforcement and something to nail to. I made wooden brackets to hold the slides inside the cabinet, screwed to the floor. If I did this again, I would attach the front end of the slides to the cabinet face frame. I thought about attaching the door to the cabinet, but the door is only 1/4" plywood and I would have had to screw through the door into the drawer, didn't want the screws to show.
