25RB Slide Topper Install Question

I'm looking at adding a Solera slide topper over the slide on my 2023 25RB. Most of the install videos I've watched show trailers that have a rain gutter that includes a C channel to connect the slide topper to. One of the videos was specifically a Jayco trailer and came from the factory with the rain gutter that includes the C channel for a slide topper. However on my new 25RB, it's just a flat rain gutter trough with a lip on it to guide the rain water to the sides of the slide.

So it looks like I would have to remove the existing factory rain gutter strip and attach a new run gutter strip in its place that includes the C channel slot. There doesn't look like enough room to attach above it and attaching below it doesn't look like it will give enough of a slope to allow rain water to run off easily.

Has anyone installed a slide topper on a 25RB? If so, what was your experience in attaching it to the side of the trailer?

It's been a few years since I put my solera on my white hawk and I didn't consult youtube. The instructions I rcd with mine (were not specific to brand or model) used measurements from the wall opening and sides etc. to place the topper onto the trailer and I can't say the type of extrusion on the trailer had anything to do with the installation other than if it was in the way, it was to be removed first.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Saw a Jay Feather in the park I am staying at and went over to look at it as I am thinking of adding one to our 22RB. Seems that the used that flat piece above the slide to attach the slide channel to.

BIL has a 2021 25RB and had a topper added and it didn't have a topper fabric slot in the existing TT gutter rail.

Utilizing the supplied rail that came with the topper kit, BIL installed the new topper rail with the 'slot' as close to the existing gutter rail as possible which did provide "just enough" fabric pitch so water would flow off the topper fabric (w/TT level).
