365bhs Mods

I added a splendide 2100xc vented combo, a little more room around the unit would have been nice it is a snug fit. 3 loads no leaks i also put a water pan under it and a water alarm. As you can see in the second picture water line/drain access is tight. I also added a 20amp gfi plug in the work center compartment to plug second AC unit into. the AC has a 40ft cord on it so i can unplug it and run it to the 20amp plug at campground,as you see in the last pictue i pulled some of the cord out to show, serves as second shoreline at 30amp campgrounds.

Nice job! I like your solution for the second AC unit. How did you hook up the dryer vent?

If you look at the first picture just avove the washer you can see the shadow of the vent, it is shown outside in the 3rd picture. it is rigid duct from the wall to about an 18" flex line on the dryer. you have to reach in the access hole to hook it up.

added a 22" LED LCD to the master bedroom. Had to make a new bracket factory would not work. Used aluminum diamond plate to make bracket. My sat receiver has a spliter and is tied to living and master tv, we use a RF remote.

Stancsr, nice mod. My wife is bugging me to put that upgrade in ours but I am torn with loosing the drawers and having to cut a hole in my unit for the vent since the vent free ore usless. I have a specific question about the second A/C though. How come you have a cord running into your basement for this? Did you add a unit aftermarket? I did not go for the second unit since I do a lot of dry camping but if it gets too hot I may opt to add it and wanted to see what you did?
Two things I did do that I love are the JT strong arms and a second set of scizzor jacks right behind the wheels. Elminates almost all the shake and bounce from the kids in their bunks and the front shake in the MB.

second ac was factory but if you want to add one it has the wiring in place if you look inside the closet to the right is the thermostat wiring. I added the cable in the basement because we camp mostly at older 30 campgrounds around lakes in the middle of summer 1 AC is not enough. It allows me to run 2 shorelines the ac has a 40 foot cable that tucks nicely behind the wall, I run the cord out the hole the water hose comes in.. the outlet you see is the original supply for ac from breaker panel so if i have a 50amp service i just leave it plug connected in the basement. to have options are nice

Just added an overflow for my front grey water tank. I tied into a drain line just before tank and ran 1 1/2" abs pipe through the floor. If tank ever gets full without knowing washer wont make a mess.

I like how the Vizio worked out. I went with a 22" LED Haier in our master and although the factory mount worked out fine, the picture quality is not nearly as good as the Vizio. I'm going to change my 32" RCA in the living room for a 40" Samsung (as soon as the holiday sales start) and plan on putting the 32 in the cargo bay. Maybe then the wife will let me think aboout putting a better tv in the master.

Nice work. On mine there is a drawer and a cabinet under the frig, but the frig may be smaller on the Jayflights allowing for both.

Okay here are the photo's of some of the Mods I have done to date. They include JT's, extra scizzor jacks and rails and ladders for my little ones to access the bunks. I am going to stain the rails and ladders I just did not want the bunk house to smell like stain while camping this summer as it seems to take a few weeks for the VOC's to drop. That's a winter project.

Looks great.

I have a set of JT Stabilizers to install too. I assume that, with the bike rack, that was the only way to get them on the back?

You might be able to get them on somewhere else in front of the spare but I didn't go there due to not wanting to crawl under my unit every time to tighten the t-bolts. There out for travel and so that I don't forget to loosen before lowering. I don't use them while in storage for short periods.

Also your underbelly is sealed and you will need to cut some of it off to mount them. Just not worth the headache IMHO. The other problem you have if the 12 has the same make electric jacks as mine is that the support arms hit the JT's when they go up which would leave your legs down or damaged when retreiving.

The square stock and U bolts cost me about $40.00 from a local welding supply, cut to my desired length. You can drill the holes before you mount them which also makes the install that much easier. They are 12" long each and the u-bolts are 5".

FYI, make sure you open up your kit and check the length of the eye bolts supplied in the kit well before your install date. You might need to call them so that you have the correct size for installing both the front jack legs and rear electric jacks. You don't want to wait for the parts, it took 10 days to get mine. You should have the wide 58" plus kit.

A/C Mods

Stancsr

I have some questions about your A/C mods for your second unit. I have a 2010 365 BHS and I need to make the mod on the second A/C for my camper.
Where is the cord for the second A/C unit located in the basement? Did you connect the 20 amp plug to the existing cord going to the fuse box? Let's start with this questions. The last question, does it work well?

Funny... we use that draw for exactly this stuff too. It's a nice deep drawer and holds everything.

So I am in process of "summerizing" and getting to the long list of Mods. First one on the list since I had the tank kicking around for a month now was the expansion tank. I picked this 2gal diaphram well tank up in Lowes for $35.00 and my line will run full open for 25 seconds before the pump kicks on. Easy 1 hr mod for $50.00.

I am going to add a 2" piece of rigid foam under the pump to silence it more. With it not screwed to the floor there is a significant decrease in noise while on.

I also added a hose hookup for the door side of the unit which you can see the tee installed after the tank and running to the other side. Great thing to have when you need a hose on the door side.
