A few more x213 Storage Mods

Added some shelving in the space at rear where rear slide motor and supports are housed. Shelving is above power converter and space for shore power cord. We use the space for games and movies etc. Added a L shaped molding to finish the edge of the wall. Added LED strip light to be able to see what is in there (white switch on the edge)

I like it. Because anything you put there, does not sit on the bed/slide, it shouldn't count toward the 200 lb max for "storge" while the slide is in & traveling...correct?

No - the limit for 200lbs is for things on the slide. This is below the slide. However you probably don't want to put a lot of weight back there as the wood walls/shelves are quite lightweight to support a load - and adding too much weight far behind the wheels can make towing less stable.

How'd you end up getting access to this space?

How To? on the lights

First of all, it would seem that whenever I am thinking up a mod, I log on and you have done it. I like your posts, nice job.
I was just wondering where you took power from for your LED lighting in the space by the slide out, under the bed. And, if you don't mind, tips on the switch.
I created some space under there also, built some boxes and hid some support screws behind the backrest and beside the J-Sofa. But I really like the idea of the LED strip.
Any suggestions you have, I would appreciate them.

On my x213 the power converter and fuse panel is in the back under the shelf I added. There was an unused fuse space on the panel so just added a circuit. However you can also get a wire from the fridge area, behind the sofa and into the back area. Or from stove area through the water pump area, through passageway to hot water heater area and into back area. The switch I had spare from some other rv light mods but you can order almost any switches from digikey online

Great mod I like it! I will post pictures of mine, as I have added led lights in the pantry, opened up the bottom back wall to allow more space there. I did the same under the sink and under the bathroom sink as well. Lots of wasted space there too!

Seems like it might be for the spare tire, but there already is a bar in there.

To all the modders out there, has anyone ran a cable or wire into the microwave compartment? I removed the microwave since we're not really going to use it and would like to run a data cable from my solar charge controller to a router I have in there. I thought I might be able to run the cable underneath with the rest of the wires and come in behind the fridge, then go across the ceiling. Didn't have much luck [emoji53]

I think it's to lower and raise the stabilizers, I have one and I don't have any slides.

It's hard to see it in the picture what the end looks like but could it be for opening and closing a vent or is there so something under the trailer that is hard to reach like the tank gate valve ?
