Our x17z has a manual light stove and even though we don't use it too much I wanted to add an electric ignition to it. Seems like we always misplaced the lighter somewhere.
Ordered a kit off amazon for 12 bucks that had 3 outputs, wires and probes but turned out unit was too big to fit behind the face of the stove. Coincidentally, we upgraded our propane grill out at home so I used the ignition box from the old grill. A few 'L' brackets I had laying around attached the probes and I was able to bend them up towards the burner.
This Atwood model already had hole underneath the front face sticker. Just had to enlarge it for the ignition box.
