I called Jayco, gave them my VIN and requested the Roof Assembly drawings. The cut-out areas were already built in and right next to the air conditioning vents. They (there is also one in the kitchen area that I have not yet installed) are right in line with the ceiling lights so once I cut the hole, I fished around close by and sure enough there were the wires. I used a small router to cut the ceiling panel and a jig saw to cut the roof plywood.
I was surprised at the amount of insulation in the "attic" and also that there was plywood for roof decking, not OSB.
