Adding Inverter ?

Do the inverters require a vented mounting area for heat dissipation. I want to mount one in my pass thru cargo bay on the wall at the battery compartment. I haven't bought one yet but will be min. 1000 watts as I only want to power the fridge while traveling instead of using propane.

1000 watt unit does not produce much heat. Just make sure stuff is not jammed up against it.

If it is only for the Frig, you might be able to get by with a smaller unit, and install it in the refrigerator access area behind it, where the frig is currently plugged in at.

I want short 12volt leads. Plans are to just power fridge BUT, may have a need if stuck on the side of the road.
