Any one have this shelf ?

I was on eBay tonight looking at Jayco's and saw this shelf mounted on the outside bracket and I wouldn't mind having one.

I second that. Would love one of those. Looks like it fits on the BBQ rack. Brilliant.

Tunce, I've scoured the Internet and didn't find any shelves like this for sale. I think we should go int business and make these. We'd make a killing

Everyone on the road could use one, that's a great idea you have. All we need is that hanging bracket, the rest we can do.

That is obviously a grill mount with a homemade shelf attached. I've been looking for a shelf to attach to the side. This is the only one I've been able to find.

from here: Options & Accessories for Flagstaff Pop-up Trailers | Roberts Sales

Somebody has to have something like this somewhere? I can't believe that the only thing made to put on those side rails are grills.....where are the other accessories?

I did see this one online, but the underside looks hokey. The original picture posted has a good bracket on each side that hooks to the mount.

not that shelf, but I did build one using the grill bracket. I made it out of wood. It only lasted about a year or so. I made one this winter using cutting board material that my son-in-law had access to. It comes in very handy. Great place for an outdoor tv, phone charger etc. Picked up the bracket for $5 used at a local dealer.

Shelf Idea

Ok everyone. I have an idea. I am going to make these. This picture is an idea I generated after realizing that there isn't anything out there like this. I want something like this, so I think others might too. If there is enough interest, I will build them and make them available to anyone who would like one.

It's basically a shelf that uses the grill rail (you would install a second one next to your grill). It has a plastic top so it will not rot, rust or decay. It would also clean up easy. Then below would be a basket to put a few items for the grill/cooking.

Since this is just an idea, I am looking for suggestions. So far, this is what I've got:

- Table top is made of 1" thick "butcher board" material (hard plastic)
- Steel can be either stainless or powder coated steel
- Assembly will knock down for storage
- Has 'pockets' in the top to hold items/beer/pop...etc
- Add adjustable bumpers on the bottom to help level the top

I also need to come up with a product name to call it. So far I've got "Caddy Rack"....

Thoughts?

I simply used a small folding table this summer....placed under the outdoor receptacle. Had my outdoor kitchen set up on it.....when I was leaving I took the appliances inside and left the table right there. So handy and easy. Put a TV on it to watch TV .....Football games and hockey games.

Some thing like this:
