Awning Supports bowing 16 Eagle

We have seen others complain about the snapping motion the awning make when first extending. Here's the proof they are bowing the middle supports.Used 24" level to show gap!In for warranty to replace both.

It would be better if your photos give a overall photo first indicating the area you are referencing ,then give a "clear" close up so we know what area we are looking at.

Having trouble with the awning arms not coming out when I extend the awnings. The roller starts to unroll the fabric but the arms are just stuck. I have to go out and pull on the arm from the bottom to get it unstuck. Wonder if this is related to the bowing your are showing here. The motor head would also wobble while unrolling the awning.

Awning arms bowed

Would not be surprised, support arms never bowed on my Carefree awning on my H.Rambler.Must be an industry under design flaw! For months dealer refused to even acknowledge the problem.Once we showed the pics with the level and the bow. It is being addressed by Jayco. There seems to be no easy fix but replacing entire support!Another Dometic product under designed to save money! Will be glad to see them eat the bucks to replace the entire strut assembly. Thanks
