[QUOTE=Cincinnati Kid;814849]Did this a month or so ago, had been thinking about it for a while. My batteries were hard to get to, and I had to unhook all of the wires and drag them out of that hole to check the water or else use a mirror, which I really think would be a hassle, and I would put off checking them. Bought some 230# drawer slides and a piece of angle aluminum. The slides have good latches on them, and will stay put when closed. Just checked my battery water. 5 minutes and they're back in place. I'll get some quick disconnects when I get a round tuit.

A little late to this party, sorry. I have a 2018 RSTS with the same issues.

What battery size are yours and what brand? I've been thinking of going AGM but still want to do the sliding tray. Thanks for posting.

I just have the generic batteries that came with the rv. They have the series # on top, 70-something, maybe 78? The size of the batteries only mattered to me when I was ordering the drip trays. They're fairly large batteries, and usually when you order them on Amazon, they tell you what series they fit.

Also- Someday, I might move the entire steel battery box to the right. Wasted space there.
