Battery Locking

Our new TT is so long that we have to leave the RV gate open. There are 2 brand new deep cycle batteries on the TT that I sure dont want to see disappear. I just ordered two of these locking brackets that will fit around both group 24 and group 27 battery boxes and the battery L-channels they rest on.

Found them at:

Was able to order two with free shipping for $56.95.

Anyone else tried these?

I have one and a camping friend of mine has one. I'm happy. I did have an external switch put on to avoid having to take it off every time I disconnected the battery. My camper will drain the battery slowly when it is not being used.

I ordered one of these, but unfortunatley I won't be able to use it. My battery box is placed in front of the propane tanks and my Barker power jack base plate is right up against the battery box bracket.

BUMMER.......

I used 2 similar ones - same make but the one's for Golf Cart batteries. It is OK - hopefully they move on to the next one....
