Bike rack...will it work?

A buddy at work used this when he had his camper. He sold the camper but kept the rack. He heard me talking about hauling bikes and offered it to me.
I know I need to check tongue weight but was wondering about clearance issues. The strap and pins aren't permanent. Just wanted to get it on to look it over.

Hook it up and see how tight you can turn the trailer and you'll know if it's right for you. Keep in mind that I'm making assumptions based on a picture only (like the rear-ended trailer respondents) but it looks like the bikes might hit the trailer if you make a tight turn or cut it hard when backing into a site.

I would take it for a ride and then back up into a tight turn and watch for any clearance issues.
