Ceiling Fan Install?

Hi All,

We recently purchased a 2016 Octane T-32C, and we'd like to install a ceiling fan in the main room to help move the air around, especially when we have the AC running. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and can offer any advice?

This is the ceilng fan I'm looking at: https://www.recpro.com/rv-ceiling-fa...-nickel-finish

I'm pretty sure I can handle the install (I've installed plenty of ceiling fans in homes), but my main concern is finding a hot 12v wire vs. wiring it into one of the ceiling lights, which are switched.

Thanks in advance!

I took a closer look at the ceiling fan I'm thinking about buying, and realized it comes with a wall plate... I was wondering if I might be able to tap into the 12v adapter (intended for a 12v TV) for power, then run wires up into the ceiling, and around the AC unit.

You can always use Wiremold if you don't mind it being seen.
