City Water Modifications

Since we are spending most of our time on a seasonal site now, I decided to modify the TT's city water setup. I hate leaving the water pressure gauge out in the open next to the CG water connection. I added a On/Off valve as DW turns off the water every time we leave the TT for a long period of time (since we saw this $.5M RV with water pouring out from the closed storage compartment doors, the main door and a lot of other places). The second phase of this project will be getting a white PVC fence post and making a case for the setup.

Nice setup. Just a suggestion, but I would put the pressure regulator/gauge in front of the filter if you have fairly high pressure at your park. I try to keep as many parts of the system on regulated pressure as possible.

I thought about putting the regulator before the filter except when I cut open one of the filters a while back, I was amazed at what was coming through the various CG water pipes. The regulator only has a screen on the input side and the stuff that the inline water filter caught would have probably caused some issues.

Now that makes a lot of sense, never thought of it that way. A new filter is a lot easier/cheaper than that nice looking regulator!
