Converting 174BH to Baja 174BH (2019)

Is this as simple as it seems? When looking underneath at the single axle and the leaf springs it appears I just need to remove the axle and put it under the springs instead of above them.

Cons: Height = tipping hazard, dynamics, buying an extra step to get in(lol)

Pros: just having clearance?

I believe the Baja also has a bump stop above each spring too. There has been a few posts on this subject over the years.

Tipping really is not an issue. Your frontal area will be higher and it will have a small affect your mpg.

You may need to consider replacing your stabilizers too, for the extra height.

I think they only thing on your list missing is an extra set of stabilizers for the front of the trailer, not sure why they only put two on the non-baja.

My neighbour's Baja seems to have the same jacks that our non-baja had, they end up using a lot of blocks under them.

I was able to find the original stabilizers online pretty cheap, sorry I don't recall the link. I just typed the model number from the sticker on them into google.

If I remember correctly, there's even been a member here that ordered the Baja decals to make his upgrade complete.
