Custom kitchen sink covers

Guys, I stopped by Duo Form Plastics today to pick up my custom made sink covers. These covers fit like a glove. This is the same manufacture that makes the sinks and bath surrounds for all Jayco trailers. If you are tired of the aftermarket covers that don't quite fit, order these. $25.00 gets you exactly what you need. Just give them the model number of your sink (sticker is on the backside of the sink) and that is all you need. See the link below.

Jayco gets like $38 for just the small side on my sink. I know, I just ordered one. Thanks for the info! BTW, is the model number on the back outside of the sink? You know, right where you can't see it!

Yep, right where you can't see it. I took my cell phone, stuck it up in there and took several pictures before I could read the entire sticker. Better than trying to contort myself to see it. $15 for the large side and $10 for the small side.

Ohhh.. NICE! We need all the counter space we can get and the cover that came with our single sink seems like it wasnt made for our sink and kinda flops around. Thanks for the link.

I went on their web-site with the link you provided and I didn't see any info on them.

Do you have to call them??

Call this number and tell them you want sink covers. They take your order over the phone and ship them to you. Tel: 269-663-8525
I live in Michigan so I picked mine up.

I should have noted they don't advertise that they sell them. I just remembered seeing a sticker on my old Jayco trailer's sink that mentioned custom covers were available.

Duo-Form in Edwardsburg, MI. A buddy of mine worked there when I was in high school. They've been around a long time.

That's one of the things on my list. I have a plastics dealer close to home that sells cutting board material. I'll use the original cover for a pattern and make a cardboard pattern to fit the other side.

My sink covers came with the trailer, same ones in the OP's pic.

At first it didn't have them, I showed the dealer where the 2012 Jayflight brochure said the sink covers came standard and I wanted them. At first the dealer said "No" they aren't included, but I pressed (especially since I had the brochure) so the dealer called Jayco and Jayco had them sent from the Mfg to my house directly.

Update: Just went back to look up the brochure, but the 2013 has been updated and no longer references the sink cover although the picture with sink covers is still included. Attached is a link for 2012 brochure that shows it. Page 9 under the "Customer Value Package" shows sink cover/cutting board. http://www.generalrv.com/common/brochures/mak5415.pdf

My Redhawk's sinks are made by Lyons industries. Can't find the covers for those.
You think if I phoned in dimensions to the one you got they can come close to mine?

UPDATE:

Well I contacted Jayco cust. service and asked them what model number I had for the duoform sink that is in my X23B.

Jayco responded and for those of you that have a X23B and don't want to contort your body trying to see what model it is, it is 53-2519-97-B3.

For the sink covers, it will be $25 for both, plus shipping. And according to duo-form the covers will take a week or so to get them.

Hope this helps.....

Awesome "GL"! Would you know if the '13 and '12 models have the same sink?

Hey Red....

From pics I have seen, the sinks between model 2012 and 2013 years look the same to me.

I'd say...... go for it!!

We got them with our 2011. Could not figure where to keep them, they are heavy. Found a good spot in my garage for 2 years. Never missed them.

I loved the kitchen sink cover, I have similar cover for my bathroom sink but it was quite costly, it cost me around $60 plus it is quite heavy as it is made up of granite material. I am planning for lighter cover for my kitchen sink and this looks awesome with total price and design consideration. Thanks you so much for your help.
