Different way neded to raise roof

At my age, 78, this wears me out. I made an adapter to use my electric impact wrench. Sounded like it was stripping the gears. Called my Jayco dealer and asked if they could install an electric one. I believe some newer models have this. He hung up on me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

A regular drill motor on the slowest speed has worked for me. The folks over at the popupportal may have some other ideas. Most of the lift mechanisms are similarly constructed.

1/2 drill is best since they usually have more torque and slower speeds available.
