Digital Thermostat for Jay Feather
What is the best way to go with a digital stat upgrade? Specific brand and model recommendations, please. We need it for the furnace only, not A/C. Thank You!

I just went to my local Home Deport and bought a simple Honeywell digital, and it works just fine.

I bought the simple Honeywell that takes batteries to hold the temp. But I am not sure which two terminals to connect the two wires to. Any suggestions? The instructions are useless for this application.

Red wire to R and Rh ( if it's there ) and white wire to W
If there are switches or links in the thermostat, set them for "heat only".
In most cases, the old thermostat will be coded the same way, and you just hook the new one up, to match.

Digital Upgrade
Just finished switching my thermostat to a new Honeywell. Model TH1100DV Pro Series. 30.00 dollars from amazon. It took roughly 15 minutes to swap out. Works perfectly! Just 2 wires.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago. The on/off switch is so much better and now I know what it's set at and what the temp is; not just that it's comfortable.

I loved my 19H. Same year as yours, purchased new. Hated trading it in but needed a little more space after retirement and spending more time in the camper.

I got the same model on Amazon, 2 wires onto posts on back, two screws, uses batteries (included) to hold settings..
Works great, hold temp in a much smaller range than the spring operated cheapo factory one.

222 octane s/l thermostat swap
Bought a LUX DHM110c non-programable to replace the existing Coleman-mack (cm).
Wouldn't you know it the color coding on the CM is different than the LUX. The CM has a Grey wire, is the Grey the fan low?
The connections on the LUX are from left to right O/B/Y/W/RH/RC/G. There is a jumper between RH & RC. When it comes to wiring is am a dufuss. Can anyone point me in the proper direction regarding which wire goes where?
The CM is R-W1, Y-W-5, W-WG, Grey-W3, Green-W4 & Blue-W2.
Need adult guidance here!
