Dinette bench storage mod?

Looking to get hubby to cut a hole in the bench so we can access the storage without taking cushions off. Can anyone tell me where we can get cabinet doors to cover the hole we will cut in the side of benches?
Anyone do this?

Thanks

Home depot or Lowes. You can stain and lacquer themselves. If you would buy through the RV dealer they would be very expensive.

I tried my local Home Depot and they only sell the whole cabinets with doors. Unless I custom ordered one.

yeah I don't understand why they would have access only from outside on the benches. My old camper had one bench that had a door inside and the other outside but on the one with outside access you could lift the cushion and lift the base of it to get to the storage. make sure you check to see if that's possible before adding a cabinet door to the thing

Many kitchen design shops have sample displays of various styles of cabinet doors. You might try seeing if they have any obsolete sample doors that they would give you or sell for a small price.

Do a google search for "cabinet doors" and you will get a listing of many suppliers of unfinished and prefinished cabinet doors.

The only access I have to the benches is by removing cushions and lifting up the piece of wood.

Well if you want the convenience of the cabinet doors I would measure the opening you can make and check rv parts surplus for cabinet doors that would work

Any local cabinet shop can get whatever doors you need. Bring in one to match for wood etc. Good Luck...
