Egress window screen

My rig came without a screen for the bedroom egress window. I wanted to be able to open this window without being bugged. I already have the spline tool and screening so I figured it would be a simple matter of finding the matching screen parts online. I could only find one web site that sold the Kinro window parts (pellandent.com). Needed 2 radius corners, 2 square corners, frame material, and spline material for a 20" X 30" window. It was bad enough that they wanted $27 for the parts but when I got hit for $28 shipping, I bailed. Went to Lowes and got the materials for $15. Hey, it didn't match the existing stuff, but what the hey, I'm not going to put up with a company that wants to make their profit on shipping. Just a heads up for those needing to build/rebuild their screens.

Opening is easy, but how do you keep it open, and pull it tight to close it with the screen in the way?

I velcroed the screen on. I can elect to leave the screen on or store it in the closet and use it when I need it. I put a small block of wood in the window channel to place in the window to hold it open.
