Electric Fireplace

My wife and I decided to change the lower part of the entertainment center on our new 2014 White Hawk 30DSQB and add an electric fireplace.....we had chosen a floor plan with the bunk house to accommodate grandkids and it was not one with the fireplace...all went well....should chase the chill away on some cool nights.....before and after pics attached.

Thumbs up

GREAT JOB, Jumper! It looks as good (or better) than a factory install. It's amazing how realistic they can make those things look.

I found a small freestanding unit (end of season clearance @ Menard's). I was hoping to remove it from its wood case and mount just the heater/fireplace somewhere in my Eagle. But, alas, there's no where it will fit. So, I'm going to leave it as a freestanding unit (minus the wheels) and just set it next to the dinette once I get to the CG.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the "ambiance" with or without the grandkids.

Nice looking mod, and ideal location.

A friend of mine did a similar fireplace mod in his Jay Flight a couple of years ago, very functional mod.

My sister has one in their Montana 5th Wheel. It is the perfect thing to have for the cool mornings when you first get up...

After that they use theirs alot with just the display turned on. Gives a nice cozy feeling see the flickering fire...

I first used one way back then in Gatlinburg TN at a motel that said they had working fireplace in the rooms... We laughed when we saw what it really was. It however worked just fine us..
