Fireplace DIY

Here is a picture of the fireplace I installed last spring. I bought the insert on line from Costco as part of a glass stand for $140.00 and used pine material from my shop to create the trim and enclosure after removing the centre doors and face frame. The stain colour is pretty close.

Beautiful! Does it put out adjustable heat or just one heat level?

The remote allows you to change the intensity of the flame, timer, and on/off, but you adjust the temperature on the front of the glass led panel. It worked well on the weekend, the temp dropped to 54F overnight and we didn't have it on until we woke up.
