Freshwater nurse tank
Now before all you agricultural purists jump all over me, I know that by the official definition a nurse tank is used exclusively for anhydrous ammonia. I just called my new 30 gallon PCO (pest control operator) tank a nurse tank because it will be used in a similar manner to transfer water to my trailer.
The tank is made of UV stabilized polyethylene and is FDA approved for drinking water. I sanitized it this afternoon and though I'd share a picture or two.
Sure will beat the 5 gallon jerry can method. If I can find a reasonably priced pump with a higher flow rate than gravity I might pick one up later but for now gravity will work fine.
