Got ambitious today

Today was a mod day on my White hawk. First thing I did was I removed the bathroom door(just seemed to take up too much room). I installed a folding door in its place. It takes up less room, and is very functional.
second thing is I installed a fan on the bedroom mounted it on the all above where the TV goes. So if I ever want to get a TV for the bedroom I'll still have room to do so.
I thought it would be a great idea (most likely already done) I installed a grate on the frame below the entrance door steps. This way we could put our wet or dirty shoes there and they won't be on the ground or inside the camper.

Like the fan and the door ideas. DW says no to the door but likes the fan too.
My ambitious day was to install the EMS HW30C. More of a job than I thought but I got 'er done! (wish I could see better...hate these damn progressive lenses).
You ever see that commercial - "help, I've fallen and I can't get up"? That was this old guy after 2 1/2 hours on the floor installing the EMS under the frig. Almost had to call the DW to help me up. Lol. It's a bi**h getting old, huh?

here are two photos of how I secured the the shoe rack to the entrance step frame. The framework has 2 angle iron rails that each have two holes in them.I just attached the rack with 4 bolts and a couple of washers and nuts. I got the rack material from Home Depot, it's called "expanded metal". Sorry if the photos are a little blurry. Hope this helps.

Like the fan idea. Thanks!
How did you mount it? Screws? I hate using screws because I have no idea where the wiring is behind the walls.

Kycamper, Yes I used two long screws to mount the fan. I drilled through to the other side which is the in side of a cabinet the wall cavity is hollow.
I used a couple of large washers one for each side, screwed a nut on the screw just about 3/8th on an inch from the head of the screw. and a lock nut and
washer on the other side in the cabinet, I tightened the nut to lock the screw in place. the fan hangs on the head of the screw. The fan is removeable when we travel. Installed when we get where we are going. This is the only photo I have of the screws which I will paint to camouflage them

Did you weld the rack to the angle iron rails?

Shoe rack

Just make sure to check them shoes well before sliding them feet in there. I had a set up like this on my last RV and found a scorpion in my shoe the next morning when I tried to slide my foot in one of the shoes. Now I keep my shoes inside.
